Please check the size of your drum first. Small drums may not allow the movement of the water and the bags to move around which will result in the wash not being as good.

The longer you leave it the more soiled the shoe becomes. My children do a lot of sport so most days I throw them in the machine and leave them on the radiator to dry. The children take them off the radiator on their way to school in the morning Sometimes I don’t even empty them.

This defeats the object. The purpose is to reduce the stress of washing your trainers down and leaving dirty stains all over your sink. You take the trainers off and put them in the bag. Then you put then straight into the wash. The bag will contain all the grit and leaves which you can then empty into your general waste after the wash.

Most people usually put them in on a short 15 to 20 minutes’ wash. Remember this is to make this process as easy as possible. If they are heavily soiled, then you may want to put them in for longer but we usually suggest a short wash. Please read the shoe instructions before.
